Chef Skyla Olds owned and operated La Musette, a food truck and kitchen to the Wheel House bar in Niwot, CO from August 2022 through December 2024. During the three years of operation, Skyla offered a constantly changing menu reflecting local events, seasonal ingredients, and a passion for sharing my love of food and travel.
Prior to starting La Musette, I created a Dinner Series in Boulder and the Bay Area, delivering hot multi course meals during the pandemic. Prior to that, I spent a year traveling and cooking in restaurants and homes in New York and Japan. My cooking is rooted in California, where I grew up on a family vineyard and prepared wine dinners and elegant meals for guests at Sky Vineyards. When not cooking, I can be found lawyering for social justice or wine-making.
My offerings are built around local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients and incorporate techniques and flavors from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
